Yes, I am posting on my blog... shocker seeing how I completely skipped over 2014. Violet is almost 5, Juliet is 3, and Desiree will be 2 this summer (with little Tommy expecting to join the family in about 4 weeks!).

We took our kids for the first time to an amusement park (Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA). It was a little tiring, and I got kicked off of every little kid ride because of my pregnancy. I even was told that I had to sit on the bench in the carousel (but I vetoed that one and said I needed to stand to protect my kids from falling).

Overall, life is terrific!

Juliet turns 2!

Juliet is my girl that is full of energy and adventure loving. Since Desiree was born, she has become more girly. Hence why her birthday cake was race cars with flowers :-p I love being a mom of girls!

Violet's 3rd Birthday Party

I have never had so much fun planning a birthday! We went with the classic princess theme. My brother Daniel really made it come to life with his amazing engineering skills. I collected boxes for about a month and he transformed my collection into the coolest castle ever. There were secret tunnels and rooms, duct tape flags, and sidewalk for decorations. There were some kids that didn't leave the castle except for food and potty time. I also attempted my first tiered cake. It didn't fall over and tasted great so I marked it off as a success. We had princess bowling, a craft table, a princess tent, bubbles, tiaras, crowns, and pin the kiss on the prince charming frog. One of the boys even wore his crown from the party to church the next day (and a princess necklace :p).
